We are preparing a Veteran's day recognition at NWMS. For this time, we are inviting Veterans to meet with small groups of students and share what America means to them. The veterans will talk with students and answer questions.

 

The small group time will be on Thursday, November 9th, from 7:45 - 8:20a.m. Afterward there will be light refreshments in the media center.

 

Our goal is to have 20 veterans in the building meeting with small groups. Last year, we received great feedback from our students, Veterans, and teachers on our sessions that allowed our service men and women an opportunity to share their experiences and share what led them to serve our country.
