There will be no school for students on Monday November 25th through Friday November 29th due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Celebrate and honor your 8th grader's accomplishments while here at NMWS. These ads will be placed in the yearbook and can include up to four photos and a message from parents or guardians.

All yearbooks must be purchased online and are $40.00.

Progress reports will go home with students on Wednesday, December 4th. Parents may keep the progress reports but we ask that you please sign and date the progress report envelope and have your student return the envelope back to their homeroom teacher. This envelope will be used all year to send home progress reports and reports cards.

This event will be on December 6th @ 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets purchased in advance are $5 and tickets purchased at the door of the event will be $10.

Wilkes County Schools is hosting a holiday art contest for all WCS students! One winner will be selected from each of the three categories: elementary, middle, and high school. The winning artwork will be used as the official district Christmas card for 2024! All submissions are due on Monday, December 2nd by 5 PM. Mrs. Ward's CTE classes are collecting items for military care packages. We ask that all donations be dropped off to the front office by Friday, November 22,2024.

Our school system wants to give back to our neighbors in Ashe County who were impacted by Hurricane Helene. We are collecting items for care packages that will be delivered in December.
