North Wilkes Middle School will have a fall festival for our first quarter PBIS reward on October 23rd during the school day. Students need to save and bring their tickets and money if they would like to purchase additional items or concessions.

Basketball Cheerleading Tryouts will be held in the cafeteria Wednesday, October 9th from 3:30-5pm and again on Monday, October 14th after school. Students staying for tryouts must have a current sports physical ready to turn into the school.

The following students have been named NWMS September Leaders of the Month by their teachers. Congratulations students for doing an excellent job. We are proud to have you as Jaguars!

Students will bring home a donation sheet for our annual school fundraiser. In order to keep 100% of the funds raised, we ask students to get sponsorship for a Jaguar Walk. With this sponsorship, students have the opportunity to be outside for 30 minutes to 60 minutes on September 26. All funds are due by September 24 by 3:30pm. The goal for this year is $6,500. If the school reaches that goal, the whole school gets 30 extra minutes outside. This campaign helps our school with safety updates, curriculum items, and supplies. We appreciate the support of our community.

Calendar for the 2024-2025 School Year

School makeup pictures will be taken on Monday, October 7th for any students who missed having their picture taken earlier for the yearbook. Online ordering is available!

NWMS will have a school dance on Friday, September 20th from 4 to 6pm. Tickets are on sale this Monday through Thursday for $5. Parents can purchase dance tickets through school cash online or send $5 for students to pay their homeroom teachers.
